Hatice Işık, a research assistant, graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU) psychology department in 2012. In 2014, he defended his master's thesis in Developmental Psychology sub-field at METU and started her Ph.D in the same year in the same sub-field. She completed the Ph.D in 2020.
In 2013, she started to work as a research assistant at Social Sciences University of Ankara, but due to her graduate education in METU, she was given temporary assignment to METU in the same year. After passing the course stage, she returned to Ankara University of Social Sciences in 2018 as a research assistant.
