Tolga Bükrük ranked first in the faculty while graduating from the Undergraduate Program in Psychology at TOBB University of Economics and Technology in 2021, which he entered with a full scholarship in 2016. Subsequently, he completed the Master's Program in Clinical Psychology at TOBB ETÜ in 2023—also on a full scholarship—with his master's thesis titled "The Relationship between Looming Cognitive Style and Health Anxiety." He is currently continuing his education in the Clinical Psychology PhD Program at Hacettepe University, where he is at the dissertation stage.

Between 2021 and 2023, while pursuing his master's degree, he served as a teaching assistant at TOBB ETÜ. As of March 2023, he has been working as a Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology at Social Sciences University of Ankara.

His primary field of study is clinical psychology. His main research areas include health anxiety, looming cognitive style, and cognitive vulnerability factors in anxiety disorders. He conducts his academic work within the framework of cognitive-behavioral theory.

He continues his clinical practice using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Interpersonal Process Groups (Group Therapy).
