Experimental Psychology
Experimental Psychology studies human and animal behavior under controlled laboratory conditions. They examine the process of cognition, perception, memory, sensation, emotion and motivation. They investigate how people remember, how they forget, how they make decision and how to solve their problems. In addition, they examine why some are more motivated than others, whether emotions are universal, and whether emotions are experienced in cultures in the same way. Learning psychology and cognitive psychology are among the main subfields.
